The Area Agency on Aging District 7, Inc. (AAA7) Provider Relations Department works with current service providers and potential service providers to provide needed services for eligible older adults living in Adams, Brown, Gallia, Highland, Jackson, Lawrence, Pike, Ross, Scioto and Vinton Counties.
PASSPORT
PASSPORT is Ohio’s alternative to nursing home care. Helps low-income, disabled older adults remain safe and independent in their home by providing Personal Care, Homemaker, Home-Delivered Meals, Adult Day Care, Medical Emergency Response System, Medical Transportation, Home Medical Equipment and Supplies, and other services as needed.

Participant-Directed Providers (Choices)
The Choices Program gives consumers, who are currently receiving PASSPORT services, the option to serve as their own employer by hiring eligible individuals of their choice to provide care.

Assisted Living provides care for Medicaid-eligible adults in approved assisted living facilities. This is an alternative for consumers needing more care, but not at a nursing home level of care.
