Congregate Meals is a service that provides a nutritious, safe and appealing meal in a congregate (group) setting which promotes socialization. Each meal contains one-third of the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA). A congregate meal is provided to anyone age 60 or over (and their spouses, regardless of age) at no cost - although a donation is encouraged. Each county in our district has at least one congregate meal site.
